Three vertical Doppler lidar Windcube V2.1 units were installed. One of them uses an independent power supply system that combines PV panels and fuel cells, which enables lidar observations in sites without power sources, such as mountainous areas. In addition, the remote monitoring system of this independent power supply monitors the amount of solar radiation and power generation status 3 hours a day, and in the event of an abnormality, the lidar can be restarted remotely to return it to normal operation.
