We have received inquiries regarding ① those affiliated with Kobe University and ② technical advisors at our company (RTI), so we would like to explain as follows.
① Those affiliated with Kobe University
Some of RTI's employees and executives are affiliated with Kobe University. This is for the purpose of strengthening research and development and industry-academia collaboration, and we ask that you understand this as a form of venture company spun out of Kobe University.
② Technical Advisor
One of the founders of RTI is affiliated with a private company. This person is in a position to provide advice on wind condition surveys as a technical advisor to RTI, but is not an employee with an employment contract and does not have access to confidential information handled by RTI. In addition, this person will not be directly involved in RTI's business practices, but it is expected that RTI will include this person in technical studies and research presentations through joint research with Kobe University and other organizations.
Currently, while the domestic wind power market is expected to grow, the shortage of engineers in the wind field is becoming serious. In order to realize healthy growth of the entire market, RTI aims to establish a system of integrated industry-academia collaboration so that academics can provide effective technical support to private businesses.
