Relatec is pleased to announce that it applied for the "Model study and construction of a test site for offshore wind observation" project, publicly solicited by the New Energy and Industrial Technology Development Organization (NEDO), along with Kobe University and Japan Weather Association, and was selected on Monday, November 2022, 11.
In this project, the three parties will utilize their technical capabilities to build and maintain Japan's first model calibration test site, necessary for ensuring the accuracy of wind condition observations for offshore wind power generation, within Mutsu Ogawara Port in Rokkasho Village, Aomori Prefecture.
Through this project, ReraTech will maintain meteorological observation equipment at the Mutsu Ogawara site and continue to conduct calibration tests on offshore wind observation equipment, thereby contributing to the promotion of offshore wind power generation, which is expected to be introduced on a large scale in the future.
