[Nihon Keizai Shimbun] Offshore wind power, research equipment testing site set up by Kobe University Start-up and others in Aomori

We will add some supplementary information to the article regarding future developments.

The wind observation facility (Rokkasho Village, Aomori Prefecture) where the accuracy of LIDAR equipment was verified as part of NEDO's "Establishment of Offshore Wind Condition Survey Methods" project will be used to develop a test site through NEDO's "Model Study and Construction of a Test Site for Offshore Wind Condition Observation" project.

In the future, Kobe University plans to capitalize the equipment by fiscal 2022 and establish a management and operation system by fiscal 2023, with the aim of building a public testing site using the wind observation equipment at Mutsu Ogawara Port.
