We are pleased to announce that a portion of the website has been published providing an overview of the Mutsu Ogawara Offshore Wind Observation Test Site, for which Rera Tech Inc. is the liaison office.

Please see here for the detail.

This test site is the first of its kind in Japan, and is a facility of Kobe University, a national university corporation, that allows for accuracy verification of wind observation equipment, including Doppler LIDAR. It opened to the public in April 2023.

We are working towards the goals of improving the reliability of wind condition surveys, growing the domestic wind power market, contributing to research and development in various technology fields, and contributing to the local community, so we hope that you will make use of this service in a wide range of ways.

The construction of this test site is being carried out as part of a NEDO project called "Model study and construction of a test site for offshore wind observation," which is being carried out by Kobe University, Japan Weather Association, and ReraTech.
