In order to promote research into drone observation technology, Reratec provided its vertical lidar to Nihon University's Uno Laboratory (Atmosphere and Hydrosphere field) under the framework of a collaborative research project.
This experiment was conducted in September 2024 in Tsukuba City, Ibaraki Prefecture, with the aim of evaluating the observation accuracy of vertical profiles of wind direction and speed using an ultrasonic anemometer mounted on a drone.
We will continue to contribute to the development of observational technology by providing equipment suited to these research objectives.
