This test site, the first of its kind in Japan, will be open to the public in April 2023 as a facility of Kobe University, a national university corporation that can verify the accuracy of wind observation equipment such as Doppler lidar.
We are working to improve the reliability of wind condition surveys, grow the domestic wind power generation market, contribute to research and development in various technical fields, and contribute to the local community, so we hope that you will find it widely useful.
The construction of this test site is being carried out as part of the NEDO project "Study and construction of a model for test sites for offshore wind observation" carried out by Kobe University, the Japan Weather Association, and Relatec.
