Hello, I'm Takamatsu from Rera Tech Inc.. At Rera Tech Inc., I'm in charge of public relations, human resources, and technical support.
As for the latest developments within the company, since autumn, the number of on-site visits by the observation team (installation of lidar and fuel cells, etc.) has increased, and members have been flying all over the country. On-site work can be dangerous, so I am very glad that we were able to end the year without any major accidents or injuries.
In this final column of 2023, I would like to look back on events at Rera Tech Inc. in 2023.
Launch of the Mutsu Ogawara Offshore Wind Observation Test Site

Mutsu Ogawara Offshore Wind Observation Test Site
The biggest achievement of the activities that Rera Tech Inc. was involved in 2023 was: NEDO ProjectinMutsu Ogawara Offshore Wind Observation Test Site" was launched.
We began discussions with Kobe University and the Japan Weather Association from the beginning of this year, and partial operation began in April, with the facility opening to the public in autumn. There is still a lot of preparation to be done, but we have already received a number of inquiries, which we are very grateful for.
From next year, operations will be transferred to a new organization (general incorporated association), but our company will continue to be involved.

In our regular work, we continued to receive many requests for wind condition surveys, such as lidar observations and numerical model analysis. Among them, it was notable that many of the cases combined our observation and analysis know-how, such as examining suitable locations for wind condition observation points.
Other activities included appearing as lecturers in the "Wind and Ocean Condition Observation and Analysis and Power Generation Forecasting Course" at Nagasaki Ocean Academy (NOA), an online seminar co-hosted with Toyota Tsusho on the theme of "Technical Issues in Wind Condition Observation for Wind Power Generation and Prospects for Practical Application," and presenting research at the "45th Wind Energy Utilization Symposium." Many of the Rera Tech Inc. members' expertise was put to good use.

Furthermore, Rera Tech Inc.'s activities have been covered by various newspapers, including the Nihon Keizai Shimbun, Nikkan Kensetsu Aomori, and Nihon Logistics Shimbun, and the weekly Toyo Keizai newspaper selected us as one of this year's "100 Amazing Ventures."
According to the results of the "2023 Survey on the Status of University-Based Ventures" published by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry in 4, the number of university-based ventures was 2022 as of October 10. If venture companies other than university-based ventures are also included in this number, the number becomes considerable, so it was a great honor to be selected as one of the 3,782 noteworthy companies from among that large number of companies.
What we want to do ambitiously in 2024
At Rera Tech Inc., we have created a roadmap for the next three years and are proceeding with our business accordingly.
In the technology field for 2024, we will establish a new organization to manage the Mutsu Ogawara site, and implement and support projects and research using the site. At the same time, we would like to establish a monitoring system for observation data and a new numerical model.
As for the company, we are only in our fourth year since establishment, so while we are improving our internal systems and employee benefits, we would like to improve the company by reviewing work styles, recruiting personnel, enhancing internal communication, etc. Externally, we will continue to consider further social contributions and educational activities.

We hope that 2024 will be a healthy and fruitful year for all of you who view this page.
All of our employees will continue to work hard next year, so we appreciate your continued support.

As wind condition consultants, Rera Tech Inc. will carry out optimal wind condition surveys that combine "observation" and "estimation" for wind power generation.
