Past career
Graduated from Kobe University's Faculty of Maritime Sciences (currently Faculty of Marine Policy Sciences). Studied mechanical engineering as a student and worked in development at an engine manufacturer in her previous job. After getting married and having a child, she encountered RTI when she was considering balancing her work and family life, and has been with the company ever since. She now works at the Kobe head office and feels a connection to her alma mater.
How to approach work and spend holidays
I support the analysis and simulation team. I feel it's very rewarding to jump into an industry that is different from my major as a student and from my previous job, and because the industry itself is still in the growth stage, I am taking on new challenges every day. Also, because my children are still young, I work reduced hours. Since I'm staring at a computer screen during the weekdays, I spend my weekends exercising outside with my children!
