Kaede MatsudaMatsuda Kaede
Wind Survey Officer

He majored in civil engineering at university. He is currently conducting research into the impact of climate change on wind resources for offshore wind power generation, and is applying simulated global warming experiments using the mesoscale meteorological model WRF. He obtained a weather forecaster license while still a student, and worked for a power company, where he is now using his knowledge of civil engineering and meteorology to conduct wind surveys. He will join Relatec in 2025 to work on more specialized wind surveys and analysis.

Although offshore wind power generation in Japan is said to still be in its infancy, it faces many missions, such as becoming carbon neutral and becoming a mainstream renewable energy source, revitalizing local economies, and achieving GX for operators while also achieving high business viability. As wind condition specialists, Reratec hopes to contribute to the realization of current development projects such as onshore and bottom-fixed wind power generation, as well as the achievement of long-term development goals such as floating offshore wind power generation and EEZs.
